Today, Philip Kingsley remains independent and family-owned, with Brand President and Consultant Trichologist, Anabel Kingsley, now at the helm. Born out of our clinics in London to New York, our team of world-leading trichologists take a holistic approach to hair and scalp health.

Philip Kingsley was the first to recognise how interlinked your hair’s health is with your general health and well-being.
He built his business and reputation from the ground up, opening his Mayfair practice in 1957, after studying at The Institute of Trichologists where he served as Chairman before passing away in 2016 at age 86.
His expertise bridged the gap between science and beauty. He was referred to as ‘the hair guru’ by The New York Times, ‘the hair wizard’ by Vogue, and ‘the hair doctor’ by The Sunday Times.

We have decades worth of experience in treating the most problematic hair and scalp conditions, as well as cosmetic worries such as dry, unmanageable hair, limp hair and breakage.
Our clinics, in the heart of Mayfair and Manhattan, are home to our trichologists and dedicated teams. Our London Green Street clinic opened its doors in 1968. New York followed in 1977.
